Completion - Blackfriars Street
We are delighted to share that our Blackfriars Street project has completed, and we are very pleased with the outcome.
Blackfriars Street is a grade II listed mid-19th Century terraced house which occupies a prominent location within the Canterbury Conservation Area. We proposed a series of sensitive interventions, including bespoke timber double glazed windows, to preserve and enhance the historic building fabric. The ground floor layout has been carefully reconfigured, and the internal finishes upgraded throughout to create a series of light filled spaces that meet contemporary living requirements whilst retaining the property’s original character.
We would like to thank our client and collaborators.

Start on Site - Blackfriars Street
We are excited to announce that construction has commenced on our Blackfriars Street project.
The project will breathe new life into the grade II listed property through a series of sensitive interventions that preserve and restore the historic building fabric whilst modernising the property to meet contemporary living requirements. Working closely with Tower Building Services, the internal finishes will be upgraded throughout, and the ground floor carefully reconfigured to create a more contemporary open plan living area with improved connections to the rear garden and views of the Cathedral.

New Project - Discovery Walk
We are pleased to have started work for a repeat client on a new residential project in London.
Discovery Walk will convert an existing loft space to create an additional master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and walk-in-wardrobe. The ground floor will be reconfigured to create an improved entrance space and a generous open plan kitchen and living area. These subtle interventions, designed within permitted development rights, will combine to make a significant improvement to the generosity and layout of spaces within the existing property.

Listed Building Consent - Blackfriars Street
We are happy to confirm that Canterbury City Council has granted listed building consent for our Blackfriars Street project.
The property is a historic mid-19th Century two-storey terraced house located within the Canterbury city walls. It is grade II listed as part of a group of houses, which occupy a prominent location within the Canterbury (Canterbury City) Conservation Area.
Our proposal breathes new life into the existing building by sensitively addressing ongoing deterioration of the historic fabric and upgrading its thermal performance. Internal finishes are upgraded throughout, and the ground floor has been carefully reconfigured to create a more contemporary open plan living area with improved connections to the rear garden and views of the Cathedral. The introduction of bespoke timber double glazed windows improves the building’s energy efficiency while retaining and reinstating the original character of the building.
